2. When a pregnant woman has to rest her stomach on a table

Shelving

An Australian colloquial term coined in Wagga Wagga, N.S.W defining a hand action produced when listening to heavy metal music, particularly during an epic guitar solo.

The shelving action references the putting of drugs in ones anus. It is performed by holding the palm of your hand upright, with fingers elongated and violently thrusting your arms back and forth.

Contrary to popular thought the shelf is actually a sign of adoration for a band, and its use has subsequently spread across Australia, and across genres.

Chris was so into the metal music he couldn't help himself. He raised his arms in the air and thrusted it back and forward violently. There was no metal horns to be seen though, all his fingers were stretched straight out.

"Shelve it!" He yelled...

"Whats that?" replied a fellow metal head.

"It shelving!" Chris said enthusiastically.

Soon everyone was shelving along to the bands.

The guitarist spurred on by the crowds response ripped out an amazing shred solo...

The act of turning away from social networks and/or communication in order to get some alone time and/or relief from the excessive use of online social networks/communication. This does not mean the sheller does not use dark social mediums such as e-mail and/or text messaging.

V. The act of taking someones backback when they're not looking, taking everything out of the main pocket, turning the bag inside out, placing everything back in, zipping it up so as the zippers are on the inside making it difficult to open back up, and placing it back next to the person before they find out what you've been doing.
