A word used to replace the word LOVELY.
Sometimes used when being mushy with one's boyfriend,
Also,sometimes used by small children/toddlers who cannot pronounce LOVELY correctly.

Boy to Girlfriend; "Here's £100 to go shopping"

Land of chips and lager

Land of chips and lagar is the the title of a popular version of the song "Land of Hope and Glory" adapted to suit Cockneys way of life in the United Kingdom. The song first appeared publicly in the TV Series "Spitting Image"

The lyrics of the popular Cockney song:

Three Tandoori and chips, then

A bunch of Cockney Yobs are at the "Last Night of the Proms" music concert, and as soon as "Land of Hope and Glory" start playing, the yobs start singing along using their version of the words, starting with "Land of chips and lager..." etc

Lucero

To put quite simply, a Lucero is a girl who isn't afraid to express who she really is, although she may not like to show how she's truly feeling, you can still see it in her eyes. She is also a girl who knows how beautiful and elegant she is but just doesn't like to admit it. Her laugh is heart warming, her smile, enchanting, and the feeling yu get when she's around is indescribable. If your lucky enough to meet one (since her name is so unique) never aaand i mean never mistreat her, she deserves all the best. Basically a lucero is a super pretty, incredibly nice, and wonderfully awesome person.

A lucero will always be there for you.

Lugart

A Lugart is a member of the Lugart Drinking Club, the society to which invented the game of Bullmoose. To become a Lugart one much be initiated by a fellow Lugart and must swallow a dime. Once a Lugart, the Lugart must follow and abide by the rules of Bullmoose. From that point on especially during the times of drinking alcohol and more especially during the times of drinking alcohol around other Lugarts the rules of Bullmoose will forever be followed.

Lagered-up

To drink huge amounts of beer or lager simply to get very, very drunk. Not to savor the taste or flavor, but just to get wasted. The phrase is used in London and parts of England, usually associated with wide-boy or East-end types, although a trip to Ibiza might be rewarded with a few examples too.

"C'mon boys! Let's get lagered-up! Look at the locals, they're waiting for us to get proper pissed! C'mon boys! Lagered-up! Lagered-up! Waaay!"
