The word katwa is a Hindi word used in India to refer to muslim males.
The word "katwa" is derived from the Hindi root word "kat" (which is cognate to the English word "cut" and has the same meaning).

The word "katwa" refers to the fact that the foreskin of muslims is circumcised or "cut off".

Muslims are the only community in India who are circumcised whereas Hindus, Sikhs and Christians are not circumcised.

Therefore katwa is a highly racially derogatory word.

Shah Rukh Khan is a very popular katwa.
