What would happen under certain governments;

Communism: You have two cows. The governemt takes away both, gives you a small share of the proceeds and shares the rest out with the population.

Socialism: You have two cows. The government takes away just one and shares it out between themselves and the population

Liberalism: You have two cows. The government taxes you slightly on the sale of them

Conservatism: You have two cows. You are taxed almost zero on the sale of them, but the agricultural business will be subject to a recession pretty soon anyway

Fascism: You have two cows. The government takes away both and shoots you

Gomer Pyle

Named after Private Pyle in Full Metal Jacket, this type of recruit makes you wonder "how the fuck did this kid get recruited?" Usually, these types of folk join the service due to years of bullying and abuse for their weight or other issues. Most likely they may be partially or completely unable to perform basic tasks such as putting their own uniform on or improper use of firearms, making them a liability to their squad.

Private Cash "Did you see that Gomer Pyle trying to catch butterflies at the shooting range last night?"

Private Doug "If you think that's bad he almost shot the Sarge cause he didn't know how to put the safety on."

Private Cash "God damn, they should just do him a favor and ship his ass back home."

pickup truck gomer

A tall, hunched over hayssed yokel type, a simpleton who is basically a doofis, who drives a pickup truck, and thinks he is really cool, although in reality is a total dork.

The Pickup Truck Gomer thought everyone believed he was cool, but instead they all laughed at him behind his back and viewed him as an overly tall, doofis, noodle-head, and simpleton in a stupid pickup truck that he never used for any real pickup truck type work.
