Was developed originally because there is nowhere to hang but the reservation and reservoirs, and the kids would come home filthy dirty. Was adopted primarily as a word of pride from the local boys, because not only were they not afraid of getting filthy and lost in the woods, they kept their filthy secrets SECRET.
