A Der is an action used to shut down any unwanted conversation. A der is most effective when the the person looks at the co-operative directly in the eyes, puts his hands in front of his hips as if holding something out, leans back, sticks out his tongue and makes retarded sounds. Best held for approximately 5 seconds. After, one simply stands there and waits for the co-operative to run away.
