Batterie is a ship from the indie game OFF, made in 2003 and translated from french to english in 20011 made by Unproductive Fun Time and developers consisting of Martin Georis ("Mortis Ghost") and Alias Conrad Coldwood. It has gotten a sizable attraction from social media and public for it’s storyline, characters. The Batter is on a mission to “purify“ the world of OFF. The gameplay of Off is similar to that of classic RPGs.
Zacharie is the game's item vendor, buying and selling items to and from The Batter. His shop is the only one in the game, and he often shows up in new areas or shortly before difficult fights. Zacharie is largely amicable and optimistic, as he laughs when you talk to him and seems to enjoy the company of The Batter and of those around him. Zacharie and The Batter are often seen interacting since he sells items to The Batter, providing him with items, giving him clues, etc.
During the OFF anniversary stream, Mortis Ghost stated that Zacharie would smoke weed, dab, and is either a Capricorn or a Cancer.He also mentioned that in an alternate universe, Zacharie and the Batter could be in a romantic relationship, meaning that Zacharie is likely not heterosexual. And this lead fans to do the internet slang term of “Ship “ two characters, Shipping, initially derived from the word relationship, is the desire by fans for two or more people, either real-life people or fictional characters (in film, literature, television, etc.) to be in a romantic relationship.
