"Yapping session" is an expression used for caracterising a speech, talk, or a class that results in annoyance or even sleep, if the subject is as uninteresting as the person speaking.

Student 1: That was the biggest yapping session I've ever heard.
Student 2: Fr! I wasn't paying attention at all!
Student 3: Our Biology teacher loves yapping, even the smartest guy fell asleep.

you have no idea what the fuck they're saying
and their name has to be michael or start with a m for this to apply

The act of dismissing someone's argument or passionate speech as mere mindless, annoying noise—comparable to a small dog's incessant barking. This is a derisive tactic used to avoid engaging with the substance of what is being said by framing the speaker as irritating, long-winded, and unserious. It implies the person is talking just to hear themselves talk, offering no valuable content, and should be ignored like background static. It's a classic move to belittle and silence opposition without refutation.

Example: In a heated online debate about economic policy, one user posts a detailed, paragraph-long critique. The reply, "Lmao, someone revoke his yapping card already," is a cheap way to mock the effort and detail of the argument without addressing a single point. It's the digital equivalent of putting your fingers in your ears and saying "blah blah blah."

Posttraumatic Yapping Disorder 

A residual mental illness caused by chronic exposure to the high-pitched, pneumatic barking of small dogs belonging to one’s neighbors.

I am slowly but surely getting some distance from this Posttraumatic Yapping Disorder; I’ve noticed a decrease in my hypervigilance to sound since I removed myself from the noisy old neighborhood that was heavily populated by an army of tiny yappers who reacted to every single sound throughout those days and nights.
