The act of a single individual playing the acoustic guitar and singing along at the same time. Usually in a casual setting such as campfire as opposed to a literal performance.

Danny - "What's up Man, what's crackin?"

Strumming the guitar

A term meaning sex and/or hand jobs, depending on how it is used. If someone offers you a guitar lesson, it means they are offering you sex or some "strum fun". During the guitar lesson analogy, condoms are referred to as pleactrums.

Person one: Hey, fancy meeting my in the music cupboard later for a... guitar lesson? I fancy strumming the guitar ;)

Person two: No sorry, no strum fun for my today, I don't have a plectrum on me.

the act of stealing apples, nothing more. Either stealing froma tree, orchard or store. The one who scrumps is called the scrump or scrumper.

The abuse given to ex-scummers (Southampton) players or managers when they play against Pompey. It is a simple chant of "scummer! scummer! scummer!" whilst pointing an extended finger (flexing vertically from the elbow) at the said player.

Ere, Bob. Did you know that the fat scummer Beattie is now playing for Accrington Stanley? He's gonna get a right royal scumming if he plays at Fratton Park next season!

bum scrumping

It is the phrase given to gay men who go out at night looking for other me. Gay men who are in escene going on the pull. They are often the ones found at the bar scanning the room much how a non gay person would if looking for a girl, the main difference is that they are looking for a 'bum' to 'scrump' (steal).

Spyro: Left go scrumping...
Roz: What bum scrumping...
Spyro: No Urban.... whats bum scrumping...
Roz: Isnt that what gay people do when they are on the pull?
