scaremonger

(n.) A person who invents threats to themselves and others everywhere. A form of critic looking for a lucky break to be proven right. Typically praises other scaremongers, 1984, hates the government, organised religion and trading systems while freely using the produce of any. Quite narrow minded and insecure, but will attract a lot of sheep.

I have the unfortunate trait of sometimes being a scaremonger.

Screamo

A word used by dumb asses that have no knowledge or education of metal or it's sub-genres. Used to describe any band that uses harsh vocals with fast or heavy metal music.

Dumbass - "What kind of music are you into?"
Me - "Mostly Deathcore and Death Metal, bands like Oceano, Thy Art is Murder, and Dying Fetus."
Dumbass - "Oh so that screamo shit."
Me - "No."

SCEMO

This weird and wonderful creature is a cross-breed combination between an Emo and a Scene. This breed is rather rare but is multiplying in numbers, and when seen should be photographed for proof!

- A typical Scemo is often confused and in denile about being either one of them.
- Usually seen wearing drainpipes(skinnys), Black hoody, and a H&M kiddy top ... mostly found in either batman or spiderman or superman!
- Can have either the typical scene hair (fringe clipped across the forhead). Or the all in the face emo look. Or a mixture of both!
- Mainly found in Topshop, H&M kiddys, Or some form of a coffee shop..

Girl 1: Hey look at that, *points at snemo*, its an emo.
Girl 2: Thats obviously a scene you dumbass.
Girl 1: Nah i swear she's an emo, look at what she's wearing!!
Girl 2: Yeah but look at her hair...
Girl 1: I guess... I know she's a Scemo!

Scemo is basically a mix between emo and scene.

Person 1: Is he emo?
Person 2: No, he's scene.
Person 3: You're both wrong! He's scemo!

scemocore

Scemocore is appropriately named because it describes people that are a mash of scene, emo, and hardcore. Scene qualities often seen are the hair and attire of scene kids. The emo part simply states that these scemocores are sometimes depressed and over-emotional. And lastly the hardcore aspect is the toughness, raving, piercings and occasional bursts of hardcore dancing. Scemocores tend to differ amongst eachother, as they pull more strongly from certain bases than others. Also, according to each one's beliefs, you'll find that some are straightedge while others partake in drugs and alcohol.

Scene + Emo + Hardcore = Scemocore

Screamo

Screamo is a genre of music which predominantly evolved from hardcore punk, among other genres, in the early 1990s. The term "screamo" was initially applied to a more aggressive offshoot of emo that developed in San Diego in 1991, which used short, chaotically executed songs which grafted "spastic intensity to willfully experimental dissonance and dynamics,"4 often with a political message. In the early 2000s, the genre name began to describe a different, slower and less dissonant style that borrowed from alternative rock. The term's application to the "second wave" is controversial among fans and practitioners of the earlier style.5 One musician observed that the term "has been kind of tainted in a way, especially in the States".
