1.) When someone calls your name, you turn your head quickly to look, and no one is there to speak to you anymore.

2.) When someone drives by in a car and beeps a horn and when you turn you cannot figure out who it was.

Rubbernecker: "Hey, John."

John (turns head): "Yes?"

-(No one is in sight anymore)

Rubbernecker(to friends): "Nice, I just rubbernecked the shit out of that kid."

To call somebodys name and then turn or cover your head and not saying anything. The person will yell what and then walk away clueless. its funny. U can also say something like excuse me, or u with the purse. Or be like yo asshole. There are endless possibilites. The person u are rubbernecking will be embarrassed and will have no idea what happened.

John and his friends: HEY Ashley (hides)

Ashley: what, what who called my name! what just happened.

John: (hides and says nothing)

Ashley: o whatever it must be me (walks away clueless)

1. Someone who, when playing xBox or Playstation on a the same TV against each other, looks at the other player's half of the screen to get an unfair advantage against the other player- Knowledge of where the other player is located and weapons they may have.

Usually in a first person shooter ex: Halo.

"Dude! How did you know know where I was? I had camo and the radar jammer... You're such a rubbernecker!!"
