For people who you don't want on your facebook friends list, but would be too awkward to remove completely.

People probably on your limited profile: Great Aunt Susanne, former employers, the weird kid in your class who you get your notes off of, etc.

profile stalk

1. When someone adds you on a social networking site and you go through all of their pictures and content to find out who they are.

2. When you do as the first definition outlines, only you are doing it just to be a creeper/stalker.

1."Dude, I'm not a creeper, I'm only profile stalking her to find out who she is because she added me."

2."Mayne, if you don't quit profile stalking, you're gonna get your ass kicked by someone."

Multiple Profile Disorder

Multiple profile disorder (MPD) is a social networking disorder characterized by having at least one "alter" personality that controls behavior. The "alters" are said to occur spontaneously and involuntarily, and function more or less independently of each other.

They may be evident by posts that are not characteristic of the known person and seem widely out of normal character. Some of the posts may be offensive and unfiltered.

The unity of consciousness, by which we identify our selves, is said to be absent in MPD. Another symptom of MPD is spontaneous posts in conjuction with amnesia, which can't be explained by ordinary forgetfulness.

Multiple Profile Disorder posts may include "Dear bitch who stole my parking space after I drove around and waited 20 minutes: You'll get your Christmas cheer in the form of karma."

Profile Sourcing

The term used by social media gurus when they use fake profiles to boost their follower/like numbers.

A: "Look at these numbers! Our asses are gonna get kicked. Can't you use that fake profile trick- you know the one where you pretend to be a 27 year old hot girl in your bikini?"
B: "It's called Profile Sourcing!"
A: "Of course it is dear :-/ "

Profile Prick

A person who thinks by over editing there image or using a logo of whatever is current they will be viewed as cool or edgy.

Example 1

Karen: Henrietta looks amazing in her profile picture
Sheila: I Know she looks like a chewed blood orange in real life, profile prick

Example 2

Jim: I didn’t know Farquhar was so passionate about the NHS he even has the logo on his profile

Bob: he isn’t he just thinks it makes him look good, profile prick

limited profile revenge

When a Facebook user puts one of his or her Facebook friends on limited profile because that same Facebook friend put the Facebook user on limited profile first. You can tell if you're on limited profile if the aforementioned Facebook friend's tagged photos and/or personal information are no longer viewable.

Will result in tension between the two Facebook users. One party may possibly block the other.

Putting someone on limited profile is not recommended unless you have an inexplicably unbelievable reason to do so because you will usually end up offending or alienating your Facebook friend.

Don't put me on limited profile unless you want to start something, bitch.

Do unto others as you want others to do unto you.

Limited profile revenge usually occurs when people lose their Facebook etiquette.
