Neuro-Bullshit

Neurological terms, photos of brains, or other brain scientific imagery, language, or concepts used to persuade an audience of people who are not neuroscientists.
The guy made a claim we were supposed to believe and then to convince us he just started spouting a lot of neuro-bullshit about the brain.

Neuro-Bullshit

Reference to some neurological study or brain imaging study or MRI study or 'the brain points light up here' study which has value implications about something super complex, but is used by a speaker to baffle their audience, claim expertise, and make a point that can't be refuted (unless the audience is neuroscientists).
Look at that speaker putting all that Neuro-Bullshit on the presentation screen at the start of their lecture in order to convince us that what they're saying about how people behave is right. They're not a neuroscientists and neither are we, why are they showing us brain photos?!

neuro-fluoro

adjective - A non-clinical, light-hearted word for neurodivergent or neurodiverse.

Having or relating to a neurodivergent disorder or condition (such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, OCD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or Tourette's Syndrome).

An alternative to the more commonly-used 'neuro-spicy' and 'neuro-sparkly', coined by autistic stand-up comedian, JD Zamora.
My neuro-fluoro brain gets easily overstimulated by loud noises, bright lights, and itchy clothes.

Don't worry about me doodling during the meeting; it's just a neuro-fluoro stim to help me concentrate.

neuro-indulgent

neuro-indulgent: To be openly obsesessed with one's own neurodivergence.

e.g. When an autistic or ADHD person tells you their condition before they tell you their name.

They often have brightly dyed hair, a privileged life, and were really excited to get their diagnosis.
They sometimes masquerade as an autism advocate, but it's really about self promotion and narcissism, they wouldn't be making videos to raise stoma awareness.

Female and afab neuro-indulgent's are usually unfiltered and passive-aggressive, but they'll tell you they are 'unmasking', and often hold the belief that the world has an unspoken moral obligation to be aware of their sensory needs.
It was a fun morning but I couldn't take much more of their neuro-indulgent ramblings.

neuro-indulgent

neuro-indulgent: To be obsessed with one's own neurodivergence; an excuse for unacceptable behaviour due to autism/adhd.

e.g. When an autistic or ADHD person tells you about their condition before they even tell you their name.

The sort of person guilty of this often has blue hair, facial piercings, gets offended on behalf of other people, virture signals, are unfiltered and passive-aggressive but will tell you they are 'unmasking'.
- Rather than just accepting they were rude, they went all neuro-indulgent on me and said they were unmasking.

- The coffee meet-up was ok, but I couldn't take anymore of their neuro-indulgent horse shit.

- Since she was diagnosed with autism at the age of 53 she's been constantly neuro-indulgent, it's exhausting.

neuro neutral

A two-word alternative I thought of not so long ago that can describe a character or a person's personality or mental state that became numb due to certain circumstances or experiences; or just a nonchalant person.
You know that guy used to be full of energy, but ever since that incident, he became neuro neutral.

I'm just neuro neutral when it comes to situations like these, because I don't want to get involved.

He's been starting to feel neuro neutral ever since that girl left a deep void in his heart.
