Daft Punk's fourth studio album. An epic homage to the disco and electronic scene of the late 70s and 80s. The album contains a host of collaborators including Julian Casablancas and Pharell Williams. Sadly, people only like to pay attention to Get Lucky, while there are a dozen other great tracks.
Contact, Lose Yourself to Dance, Touch, and Instant Crush are amazing songs off of Random Access Memories.

Get the Memommy mug.Mehmoonis are persian gatherings where parents shit talk every single child while comparing them to each other AND bring up embarrassing stuff. There is also a touch of “Tuye in mamlekat” (in this country).

Get the Mehmooni mug. Also known as the Rodge Lodge, a place where people go to stay for CBT, Boost Plus, and tears. Start your day with being weighed and then a cold shower. Then come on down to the group room and become bored out of your mind. We’re eating six times a day but at least you’ll meet amazing Boost Buds, a.k.a. the greatest people you will ever meet. We’re here for a good time, not for a long time. So sit down (because standing is frowned upon), get anxious, and write down random tallies in your ban book and random numbers on your exposure records.
Oh no, we’re driving past the Rogers Memorial Hospital sign. Things aren’t looking so great if you’re driving into the parking lot at the Rodge Lodge.

Get the Rogers Memorial Hospital mug. When you "ice someone out" (i.e., dump them, fire them, or otherwise get rid of them from your life) via a coldly detached, corporate-style, bureaucratic message, resembling a business memo.
Sample Ice Memo:
"Dear Sir: I regret to inform you that, after careful consideration, I have decided to go in a different direction. This decision does not reflect any personal misgivings, but rather it is merely in the best interest of all parties involved. Sincerely, X."
Reaction to Receiving Ice Memo:
"I dated that woman for a year, and I cannot believe that she broke up with me via an ice memo."

Get the Ice Memo mug. When a tragic or insightful life experience causes a writer to think "I could write about this," and subsequently "That's awful/narcissistic. Why would I think that?" It seems that the whole thought process should invalidate the experience's potential as writing fodder but can instead make for a nice modernist moment in which the author's role is explicitly recognized.
MOTHER: "Maurice died."
WRITER: "Oh, that's terrible."
WRITER'S BRAIN: (What luck! My strange and unique relationship with this person will make for a compelling chapter in my yet-to-be-written memoir!)
WRITER'S HEART: (You are a bastard.)
WRITER'S BRAIN: (I know. What a memoir moment.)
WRITER'S BALLS: (Write about it anyway.)
MOTHER: "Have you been taking your medication?"
WRITER: "Huh?"
