The original series was first published in the 1950s but started to become more of a worldwide phenomenon in the 200os thanks to the film adaptations being released. That's when more people started getting into it and loving it ever since).
I was 13 years old when The Fellowship of the Ring was first released back in the early 2000s. I'm a proud member of the Lord of the Rings generation.
