A girl that plays video games simply to catch the attention of males. Gurl gamers often only play one kind of game, such as Halo, Call of Duty, or an MMO. Gurl gamers flaunt that they are girls and make a big deal out of it. Gurl gamers are the opposites of girl gamer.

Example 1:
Gurl Gamer: "Thats right, I'm a girl AND I play video games!"

Male: "Oh yeah? What kind of games?"

Gurl Gamer: "Halo and Call of Duty!"

Male: "...Anything else?"
