Faux news

The only two major difference between Fox and The Daily Show:

1. The daily show does not claim to be "fair and Balanced" like Fox does.

2. While John Stewart tells the truth with a major Liberal spin on it, people like Bill O'Reily (affectionately known as Mr. Falafel) tell outright lies.

As I would be in bed within the hour, I thought maybe I would re-watch some of Welles 'Citizen Kane' or re-read portions of Twains ' The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn'. But as these are long time, beloved pieces of art to me and I needed something to put me to sleep quickly, I settled on watching Fox News. Good tranquilizer.

Fox News

The American equivalent of Al Jazeera, a far-right conservative, self-contradictory(see Fair and Balanced) political propaganda broadcast system. Notable features include loudmouthed hypocrites in suits and ties who know nothing of the issues that concern their own country, lies, distortions and misleading statements, which are typically spewed at rates of as many as a dozen a minute, lack of concern for the values on which their country was founded, and suppression of anyone who's opinion conflicts with that of rich white male republicans.
