Quick Time Event

A method of "gameplay" developed for video games, a 'quick time event' is a section of a game where you are only required to press specific buttons when they show up on screen. Usually, if a player misses a button press during a 'quick time event', the player's character dies.

I love Heavy Rain, but it seems like the game is a little too filled with quick time event based fight scenes rather than a really dynamic fighting system.

a marketing term intended to sell a movie as a true story, when in reality it's almost pure fiction, if not utter bullshit.

Both "The Rite" and "Sanctum" are "inspired by true events", though I'm guessin' "Sanctum" might be a tad more factual.

Eventing

Eventing is an equestrian event which comprises dressage, cross-country and show jumping. This event has its roots in a comprehensive cavalry test requiring mastery of several types of riding. Eventing is an equestrian triathlon, in that it combines three different disciplines in one competition set out over one day (one day event) or three days (three day event).

Eventing is a kick ass sport!!!! there is nothing else like it!!

eden, nc

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains, Eden is one of the shittiest towns south of the Virginia border. During daylight hours, many of their convenience stores have glass stem roses and chore boys in the same display cabinet. The largest competition in town is the race to see which is worse, the dropout rate, teen pregnancy rate, unemployment rate, and crime rate. At any given time, you'll likely encounter trailer urchins in squatted trucks with straight piped exhaust. Likely they are blasting shitty trap music while getting road head from an underage girl they more than likely picked up at Sheetz or Walmart. At one time, Miller Brewing was a prominent employer in town, but God left town the day they left. For fun, residents enjoy the Eden Inn, which was voted best place to overdose in the county! Shoplifting from Walmart is also a popular pastime idea, and although Miller Brewing is gone, the locals like their beer the way they like their violence: Domestic.

God himself tried to clean the place up with a tornado in 2017, but the tornado must have been high because it hardly cleaned up anything. When approached for comment, he replied that he just didn't see why a perfectly good EF5 tornado should be wasted on the town when the opioid crisis is slowly but surely thinning the herd.

Eden has gotten pissed over people taking inspiration from them ( which makes no sense since ofc kids which most of their fanbase is full of is gonna take inspirations from things but Eden thinks of it as stealing. Their words not mine )

and has hated that people color picked or use color palette some the web ( even tho they have admitted to doing both themselves and copying their ex friend ocs because they wanted the oc back )

Art style theft - they said that they will block anyone that have a similar artstyle to them or copying their style (even tho their tofubee artstyle was just a eefoj rip-off, this sounds stupid to accused them of stealing a artstyle but they have set their rules and we will follow it)

The worst schooling website ever created, a glorified slideshow. Many schools subjected their students to this torture following the COVID-19 pandemic as many were forced to do remote learning. Edmentum works slide by slide, teaching students the same coursework they learned last week, and the week before that, and the week before that.

Student 1: God damn I hate edmentum. It's the same shit over and over again
Student 2: Maybe if they had a budget higher than $5 it would be better.
