EBOS = Emotional Breakdown Over a Ship.

The period of time after watching a movie, such as a gay-themed, Coming - of - Age, Spanish Film, that doesn't have a happy ending for the main characters/couple where you officially experience the pain from being sucker-punched right in the feels because you wanted them to have a happy ending but that wasn't what you got, so you begin to cry and don't know what to do exactly from that point on.

You: Hey, I just finished this awesome movie, and I'm having an EBOS.

Your Friend: Oh, I'm so sorry, what happened?

You: *Goes into long, detailed explanation to help friend understand*

Your Friend: Damn, I'm so sorry, that shit is really fucked up.
