Cronus

Cronus is a beta troll and is the ancestor of Eridan Ampora. He is mistaken to be "sexy" though really isn't in the canon Homestuck webcomic. He is considered more of a "romantic" and always keeps a cigarette in his mouth. He also wears a white shirt with the same zodiac symbol as Eridan. Same blood color and everything (A shade of purple.) He is normally nice, but may or may not get in arguments easily. It won't matter whether you're male or female, because I bet Cronus has a chance to flirt with you.

ME: Please don't look at me Cronus. It makes me feel weird. Are you trying to flirt with me? Please stop!

Cranston

Cranston is the third largest city in Rhode Island. Located south of Providence and north of West Warwick. You can find a equal mix of characters in Cranston ranging from white trash, burn outs, snobs, and rich folks. But honestly Cranston is a very unique place with many perks to living there. 5 minutes from the city and only 20 from the beach. There are many good restaurants located in the area as well. The girls from Cranston seem to just be a lot more attractive, especially the girls from the west side. Cranstonians have a distinct accent, different from other Rhode Islanders. Even the creator of Family Guy, Seth McFarlane, likes the city so much he has be quoted in saying Quahog has been modeled after Cranston.

crankshaft

An important part of an Internal Combustion Engine. It serves the biggest role of an engine, converting Linear motion to Rotary motion. It takes the piston's up-and-down motion, pushing the connecting rod therefore turning the crankshaft. It contains counter-weights to balance the crankshaft so to reduce noise and vibration. It is also connected to the camshaft for timing purposes via a timing belt.

The crankshaft must turn without friction, therefore it has bearings on the case and bearings around the connecting rod. Oil must be supplied, in fact the crankshaft sits in the oil pan. There must be little play, but lateral play occurs, see Crankwalk.

On Manual Transmissions, the wheel with teeth at the end of the crankshaft is called the Flywheel. On Automatic Transmissions, it is called a Flex Plate.
