corner hitting

when smoking from a bowl, positioning the lighter on the side of the bowl so that it only gets a fraction of the weed rather than going straight over the top and scorching the whole thing. this helps the weed last longer and essentially allows for multiple people to get greens.

"smitty, you little bitch. watching all that perfectly good smoke rise from the top of the pipe while you're telling some bullshit story instead of passing it is really killin me here. if you had been corner hitting this wouldn't have been an issue because you would have still gotten a good hit off a fraction of the total volume and saved plenty for the rest of us. and if you've really had a girlfriend for six months, how come none of us have ever seen her in real life or in your facebook pictures?"

corner cheese

v. 1. Originating during the arcade fighter craze in America in the early 90's, a phrase; which is most commonly used and attributed to the Capcom game Street Fighter II, that describes a player using the maximum right or left of the screen's playing area to trap their opponent with little means of escape, to which they are capable of holding an unfair advantage through repetitive offensive attacks, character balance exploits, and/or "turtling" to achieve a "cheap" or "cheesy" easy win during a round, commonly ending with the opponent failing to maneuver away from the attack, or the opponent being unable to sustain any more block damage from Super or Special moves.

note: In Street Fighter Alpha 2, a victory icon was introduced in the form of a small cheese wedge, which was designed sardonically in honor of the predominance of "cheese" in the fighting game genre, which is awarded to the winner of a round who defeats their opponent using a Super or Special move while they are blocking.

Colberting

Colberting is the act of posting a number of high-resolution images in a thread on an web forum in an attempt to make it difficult for other forum members to read, thereby either slowing or stoping the conversation occuring within it. In practice, pictures of Stephen Colbert are often used as the requisite high-resolution images, but any high-resolution images will do.

I wanted to read Kelly's tribute thread, but it looks like Mikey has been busy Colberting it, and when I opened it my browser crashed.
