9GAG is a once good website ruined by "edgy" teenagers and repost. 9GAG pays its employees to steal content from Reddit, 4chan, funnyjunk, and Tumblr. But content that originated from 9GAG that isn't stolen from another website is an "edgy" meme about the US being a 3rd world country or gay people being scums of the earth.

They claim 9gagers(a person who uses 9gag) to be offensive,then proceed to call them "9fags".they claim the comments on post are offensive because the comment section is definitely not full of people who have no idea what's going on.thank god there's no other site where the comment section is stupid(YOU TUBE )subtle. Basically it's people posting images of cats,boobs and food. Marmite,9gag is marmite,either you love it or hate it.

The "Vote" page is comprised of all the raw, newly uploaded posts which are then run through the gauntlet of voters. If the post gets enough likes, it moves on to the "Trending" page. This is where posts that enough people "Liked" go so that more people will get to see it and "Like" it if they want to. If it gets enough "Likes" from there, it moves on to the "Hot" page. These are the posts that have many thousands of "Likes" go and where they are immortalized. To get a post to the "Hot" page is the greatest aspiration one can have as a member of 9gag and to get one there is considered something of a badge of honor.
