Reasons people use the term include:
1. family history of racism
2. the actions of one causing a person to have negative feelings about a whole group
3. area of upbringing

People of all races do, bc the word itself has gained a somewhat “comedic” angle also bc of a lack of fear of consequences Bc you can’t get punched through a screen…. Yet. In conclusion, this term is dated, it’s creation is deeply rooted in ignorance, hate, and years of pain. Why people think it’s funny for it to thrown around as if it’s just a some offensive joke, I will never know.
