Sales Rage

An emotional state that affects a few people while attending a SALE promotion at large department stores. Usually when a shopper is so focus on obtaining an item that have been reduced in price, but was thwarted in obtaining it by a competing shopper. Related to Trolley Rage; Road Rage.
"The woman was in a Sales Rage when she missed the last of 50% discounted LV hand bags, after waiting outside Harrods store since 2am."

A really good business based out of Michigan, northern Indiana and Ohio. They sell all kinds of trees and plants! Give em' a shout

Olesen Sale

When a company raises prices by a large percentage, then declares a sale on the same items for a smaller percentage, giving the impression of big savings but in reality pocketing higher profits than usual. References Little House on the Prairie episode "Harriet's Happenings" (1978) in which the Mrs. Oleson raises the price of her goods 50% but advertises a 30% discount. "We'll make a 20% profit!"
