lag wall

When you're in a game and get blocked from moving a certain way by lag. So, running one way in a game and it suddenly stops you before the lag calms down and let's you run again.

Person 1: dude you suck at this, move forward

Person 2: no I cant, I just hit a lag wall.

HET lag

aka Hetero lag- aka heterosexual lag: when you grow up thinking you are straight but you never really know but in the back of your mind you do really know you just push it back into your mind more though.

set lag

It’s like jet lag but for filmmakers. It’s the fatigue one feels after being on a film set for several long days.

Man, I have set lag that was a long week of filming. I’m setlagged and will have setlag for the rest of the week.

Lag Machine

A contraption in open world MMO Survival games (Minecraft for example) that intentionally slows down server time catastrophically for everyone on the server no matter the distance if it’s being rendered.

HaXOr: omg lag
Super_Steve: 3rd time this our
HaXOr: of course I dropped my op sword
SkEpPy: lagggggg
Zelllk: @admin?
HaXOr: yeah someone’s using a lag machine
Zelllk: who usin lag machine I’ll knock their **** in the dirt

Florida Lag

When you are playing on the same server as a person in Florida and you lag because their internet sucks even when their not host. Usually caused because all the old people in Florida using up the internets.

Jeremy fix your god damn Florida Lag! I can barely fucking hit anyone.

Jack Lag

The dissociative experience to real time upon watching several consecutive episodes of the Fox television show "24."

Similar to the feeling of jet lag when traveling between different time zones and experiencing a disconnection between the body's time clock and the actual time. A similar feeling occurs after watching Bauer Hour for too long.

"I've just watched 5 straight episodes of Bauer Hour and I don't know what time it is in real life. Oh well, I'll just go with whatever the last time was on the show, I'm Jack lagged"

Death Lag

When your character is killed in the middle of something resulting from a horrible lag. The player's character could either be killed by an enemy player, the game environment, a NPC or some monster in the game. As long as the game connects via internet, then this could happen as long as that connection is bad or "laggy".

This mainly occurs in overpopulated MMORPGs or games with otherwise bad internet connections that occur frequently, eg. RuneScape and Call of Duty 4.

Player 1: "WTF happend?! We were just about to win!"
Player 2: "Damn noob killed me because I lagged."
Player 3: "Dude, you were just owned by a 'death lag'!"
