Awesome like that

'Awesome like that' is a term that can be used when someone does anything strange, yet amazing, that their friends did not know they could do. Usually a term used by band geeks or anyone associated with them as an answer to a question that someone doesn't want to answer, or isn't able to answer.

"Why are you wearing your letterman jacket to school?"

"Because I'm awesome like that."

"But it's 95 out there."

"Because I'm awesome like that."

Origin: Unknown. Most likely a slang term created by gamers demonstating clever manipulation of syntax to veil a potentially sentimental compliment. Made popular by Steve, the lead character in GAM3RS the Play and Web Series.

Refers to an episode of South Park where Cartman dresses up in cardboard to become AWESOME-O, Butters' new robot friend from Japan. Of course, Cartman is only doing this so that he can learn some of Butters' dirty secrets.

The inspiration for the name comes from Honda's ASIMO humanoid robot.
