Shared Sacrifice

Everyone give up the goods so me and my friends can have more. (Typically spoken by elected officials or upper management)

Elected Official to Constituents: "We all have to pay a little more in property taxes. It's a small shared sacrifice so we can keep teachers, firefighters, and police officers on the payroll".

Elected Official to Staff: "Pay raises for everyone, and if you need me, I'll be investigating our Sister City in the Bahamas".

No Shave November

The month of November in which you don't shave any hair of your body but instead you grow more bestial, brutish, and manly.

The months of December, January, February, and so on follow and may also be included in this celebration of masculinity.

December = ("Don't Shave December")
January = ("Just Don't Shave January")
February = ("Forget to Shave February")
March = ("Masculine March")
April = ("Atrocious April")
May = ("Manly May")

My buddies and I all participated in No Shave November to raise awareness for the important and educational month of November. It is now a recognized national month that identifies the worth and meaning of celebrating masculinity.

saved my buttons

Slang for saving and/or helping someone in a situation such as avoiding stalkers or carrying someone out of a burning building. Most commonly used as a term for those who manage to keep the buttons on a jacket from receiving much stress.

Dude 1: I'm gonna sit down
Dude 2: Unbutton your jacket! Keeping it buttoned and sitting down could strech them out!
Dude 1: thanks man! You saved my buttons!

Shaned

The act of eating massive quantities of food in a very brief amount of time by taking great white shark sized bites out of the food item being consumed.

Secondary Definition:

To make food disappear instantaneously.

When the Zorf offered a half sandwich to Hoof Hearted it was intercepted by Migraine Headache Boy and shaned before Hoof Hearted could verbally respond to the offered sandwich.

Bob was starving after a hard day at work stuffing down pillows. Upon arriving home he proceeded to order an extra large pizza. When it arrived, he immediately shaned it. Authorities were unable to find any trace of said pizza...
