A word that's most useful function is to get a free punch in the face from me.

It's never a good thing.

Joe greeted me with a vibrant "Hey, nigger!" He never woke up.
Shmidtty walked right up to me and let out an incomprehensible stream of ebonics, topped off with a short "nigga." I explained to him how just because we are both black does not mean he can call me a nigger. He, too, was taken to the ICU.

I don't believe in the idea that it's okay to say "nigger" because you're black. Anyone who says otherwise is high.

A person that is cool,hip ect. This meaning started in the rap culture. There are white niggers and black niggers.

Two white guys are waiting at a stop light with some loud rap music playing.And another car pulls up next to them.And the guy says,"you niggers turn that stuff down". One of the guys says,"what did he call us?".The other guy says,"niggers". The first guy says,"cool!".
