Man Maths

The act of loosely guestimating whether a goal is achievable, often without fully thinking through the ramifications of achieving said goal.

Last month, Joe used Man Maths to work out he could just about afford an iPad with his disposable income and purchased one, however a week later he ended up receiving an on-the-spot fine for being stellard in public and this took him into his overdraft.

soul mates

Two people that are supposedly perfect for each other and meant to be together forever.

But for people who actually have a brain, the idea of "soul mates" is ridiculous. There are certain people who are right for you at certain times in your life. There isn't ONE person who you are always supposed to be with forever.

I thought my now ex boyfriend and I were soul mates. Then I grew a brain and realized that maybe we were meant to be with each other at that time in our lives, but as time changes so do peoples feelings. And neither of us feel the same way about each other anymore.

Mates

Originating from a certain public school which might be somewhere in the south of England perhaps, this is usually shouted at someone who has none. When yelled, it means "aha, you have no friends."

After a bad joke: "Oh, mates Jim."

OR, when talking about someone, "oh yeah, Jim has mates."

Except we come from good backgrounds therefore know nobody by the name of Jim.

mattstyle

Adjective. Used to describe people who needlessly wear sunglasses indoors and carry backpacks everywhere they go, like the supermarket or a restaurant.

"I'm carrying my backpack into the restaurant. I'm going mattstyle."

"Hey, would you take your sunglasses off? You're not driving on the dizogg anymore. It's bad enough going to Sprawlmart, much less with someone who insists on going mattstyle.
