Generation Y

Generation Y otherwise known as echo boomers, or Millennials, is the term for the Generation born between 1980 and 1995. Most of them are children of either Baby boomers or Generation X.

These people are the first to grow up with technology, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the recession of 2008. By the Mid-2010s, they will be the largest working force in the United States.

These are the Generation demographics:
Greatest: 1901-1924
Silent: 1925-1945
Baby Boom:1946-1964
Gen X: 1965-1980
Gen Y: 1980-1995
Gen Z: 1996-present

To be clear, Generation Y last through 1995, then 1996 is the start of generation Z

A political meme. Generation Zedong is the leftist part of GenZ. Zedong is the last name of Mao. GenZedong is highly authoritarian and hate liberals, anarchists, nazis and the 1%. One could say they are much more authleft than millennial Stalinist/Maoists.

Naruto Generation

A generation of lame ass American teenagers (13-19) who watch anime, cut themselves, and wear silly bands. They think they speak "jap", and they cut because "no one understands them." They're usually white kids, born and raised upper-middle-class, with no problems, yet they tend to cause their own problems and sympathize for themselves over it. This, and the "chu" generation (a group of retard 11-17 year olds who think "rape ish funneh") are under the same category in social groupings. They're also stuck-up, get irritated easily, and think they own the Earth.

Generation Y

The offspring of Generation X and the Baby boomers. Also known as the “me” generation. It’s a generation of young persons born typically between 1980 and 2000, and the offspring of dysfunctional parenting practices of Generation X that has resulted in inflated egos, entitlement, selfishness, materialism, debauchery, and a lack of responsibility. It’s the generation of the cell phone, IPOD, the iPhone, TIVO, Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Sponge Bob, and school shootings.

Generation Y is a troubled generation, and its values will be the eventual downfall of our country.

millennial generation

The generation which came of age in the 21st century. They're fond of tattoos and body piercings and spend all of their time exchanging pics of their latest drunken blowout on Facebook or Myspace. They talk constantly on their cell phones even in the bathroom and text messages back and forth even during exams. Reading is a chore unless its the latest entry on a friend's LiveJournal. The only books they have ever read completely are the Harry Potter novels

Overheard a college admnistrator recently "you've got to remember these students are part of the 'millennial generation'. They have the attention span of a gerbil and require constant stimulation."
