The Chicago Fire Soccer Club are a 1st divison professional soccer club that plays in the MLS. Founded on October 4th, 1997, they are one of the first expansion clubs in Major League Soccer’s history. Their colors are red and white, and they played their inaugural season in 1998 and also famously won the double that year. (the MLS Cup & U.S Open Cup)

The name and title of Lil Chicago is kept alive to this day due to the crime and gang activities on the east side of Hamilton. Other nicknames for this city include ham, h-town, the H and the west side of the city is often referred to as hamiltucky. For those in the city, west and East are often considered separate cities being split by a river with two completely different lifestyles, East consisting of mostly black Americans and Hispanic Americans making little to no income.
