Try listening to some Dream Theater, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Racer X, Old Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Dragonforce, Slayer, Ozzy Osbourne, Opeth, Pantera, Testament, Arch enemy, Black Label Society, Nile, SRV, etc.
