FWerBy is the pet name for a friend with benefits. Pronouced as: "ph-wer-bi"

1)Through the acronomic abbreviation of "(F)riend/s (W)ith (B)enefits" and the highly popular children's toy the "ferby" the term "FWerBy" came about.

2) The reason of fusing both terms was a "cuter and more playful associating" term for those involved in a "beneficial situation" since the 'ferby toy' is considered a 'substitute friend' for children.

(US ECONOMY) One of the 12 district Federal Reserve Banks. Based in New York (2nd FR district). Along with members of the Federal Reserve Board, enjoys a permanent seat on the FOMC (other district banks only get to rotate).

Main job is to regulate banks and administer monetary policy through open market operations. Former New York Fed president Tim Geithner is now Secretary of the US Treasury Department (as of early 2009).

Prior to 1928, the President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York was the de facto leader of the entire system. This was because of the powerful personality and connections of Benjamin Strong, a former J.P. Morgan partner.

federal arvind

The mightiest of all vessels that sail the seven seas. Contracted by the state of Mauritius in 1985, this carrier is capable of handling loads from up to 5 clients at a time. The federal arvind is a long, narrow vessel, ideal for ice breaking in the arctic however, given it's speed and fuel efficiency, it is often hired for non-arctic voyages.
