Emo chicken is a nickname for the emo singer, youtuber who also posts on other platforms "Social Repose" given by his fanbase due to his appearance. Social Repose has original music but is mostly famous for his emo covers to other genres of songs.
He is also called "emo rooster"/"roblox avatar" for his armor (as he names it). The nickname is also used by Portuguese speakers as "galo emo", as a direct translation.

An epidemic where one, some, or several friend groups turn emo.
It starts when one of your friends becomes emo.
It spreads across your entire friend group like a Hot Topic version of the Bubonic Plague.
Your friend group starts wearing black.
It only gets worse from there.
Your friend group, minus you, have started wearing spikes.
Then, those friends reach out to their friends.
