Chadding

Chadding is when somebody talks about a category of people in order to imply that they are a member of this category without explicitly saying so. They often do this by defending this category against some sort of attack, imagined or otherwise. For example, somebody will react angrily to some low profile Twitter comment and leap to the defence of the criticised group purely so people will associate them with it. Derived from the incel community's word for an in-group male, "chad".

Guy 1: You know, with all these new rules it's just impossible to be a man these days! Guys are just not able to be masculine anymore.
Guy 2: Dude, are you chadding right now? Cause no-one thinks you're even remotely masculine.

Chad

A chad is someone who implicitly or explicitly enforces heteronormativity and strives to achieve basic western hegemonic masculinity.
However, the goal of hegemonic masculinity is often missed and confused for hypermasculinity or toxic masculinity.
Chads are often slightly emotionally repressed and reject or refuse to engage with the worldview of others.
Chads will typically do the cishet shuffle to avoid topics that reject or question heteronormativity or will refuse to engage with them point blank.
While usually intolerant of certain minority groups, chads' intolerance is usually caused by ignorance rather than active hatred.

Chad is stubborn, and when his mind is made up that's what will happen. He is "shy" in bed when he has fallen in love. Chad is very good in bed and pays attention to his partner. Chad will beat hisself up when he makes a bad decision. Chad is a family man and will stick up for his family wrong or right. Chad is a protector, and can get very teritorial. When everyone else fails to realize how special he is, and no one is there is partner always is
