GVB minute

A GVB minute is an undefined amount of seconds a minute can last. The Amsterdam Public Transport Company (GVB) has the tendency to display the amount of minutes a tram or metro should arrive but one GVB minute can be five real minutes.

“Sarah at what time will you arrive? I don’t know Julia. My metro should be here within 3 GVB minutes. Oww, okay than I have some time to walk the dog.”

Refers to the action of completing a task immediately after it’s assigned. Opposite of last minute

If referring to a person who always does it first minute you can coin them as a first minuter

A: “He always does his homework first minute”
B: “I told you so didn’t I”
