But for a decade, Berniecrats have adopted Doublethink to simultaneously accuse Democrats of being Centrists, but also Liberals, used as a slur. To differentiate themselves, they have turned to calling themselves "Leftists," while openly rejecting positions of the Left like social justice and equality. All they have is the economic talking points. However:
1 Without social justice and equality, those economic points are just White Populism
2 Without realizing that the barrier to economic progress is the GOP, and committing to Vote Them All Out, they are not progress, they are just empty talking points
This "Leftism" is like the "Quarter Pounder," which is a misleading reference to the pre-cooked weight -- and since the quality of beef decreased, the resulting hamburger got smaller and smaller until the sandwich was virtually unrecognizable. Hence, "McLeftist."
