Pejorative noun used to describe food that consists largely of empty calories with minimal nutritional content. Usually artificially constructed using enriched white flour and refined sugar, the massive proliferation of cheap emptytrash has led to a nationwide obesity epidemic in the United States.

"Man, this company meeting had donuts, cookies, and muffins everywhere, nothing but emptytrash. What do I need to do to get a piece of fruit around here?"
