a drivable vehicle that has been adorned, painted and/or modified to express some sort of artistic expression. These are usually cars that are covered with anything from beads and mirrors to toys and doll parts, but are only limited by the creator's imagination. See also mutant vehicle.

Hey did you see that art car parked down on the street? IT has an actual lawn on the hood and trunk and a flower garden on the roof.

Having an insanely high car payment that prevents you from doing anything that costs even a miniscule amount of money and prevents you from eating anything other than top ramen.

Friend: "hey man, want to go out tonight and score some ladies?"

Me: "nah, I'm car poor right now. I had to pay my $687 dollar car note." "I gotta go, I got to put some top ramen in the microwave before my power gets cut off".

Student Car

A small car with only two doors and push forward seats that all students seem to have. Usually in silver or red. Around 4 or 5 lanky students try and squash into this small car and all of them try and call shotgun in a bid to be least squashed. Blasting alternative mainstream from their radios.
