Get the nigga mug.It's a word. We all know what it's derived from. We have become desensitized about it's meaning and we now try to use it as a term of endearment; which it is not, and will never be. Rappers use it in songs and suburban white kids sing these songs uncensored; yet in the presence of black people they edit the word out. What is this telling us? It's telling us that people have not forgotten the true/original meaning of the word. Using it within any race just shows complete unintelligence. What is the point of continuing to use a word that is derived from a period of time when our ancestors were in chains? I understand that we are trying to change the meaning of it by making it a term of endearment, but it isn't working and we just need to get past the used of the word.
I am a black female and if a white, black, hispanic, asian, or any type of person in the world calls me a nigger, negro, nigga, or whatever...problems will ensue.

Get the Nigga mug.Originally a term used by whites and other non blacks to break down and belittle any person of color based purely on hate. Black people have taken this originally ugly and hate filled term and turned it into somethin positive. Due to it's origin and the negative aspect of it's use by whites, it is impossible to know if a white person is sayin it with good intentions unless you know that person.
