pearl diver

Also said to be a kitchen hand or Dish pig. It just sounds better/cooler.

The name comes from the fact that the white plates are pulled from the murky washing water, to reveal a white glissen much the same as pearls.

I reached into the water and pulled up a clean plate it was just like pearl diving.
