Making vague comments about someone's dirty secrets or hinting about bad behavior. Similar to drop a dime, but not as obvious, direct or complete.
"Dude, would you stop dropping nickels to my girlfriend about what I was doing last night? You're gonna get me busted for two-timing her!"

To convince others that a false statement is true. Opposite of "to drop knowledge". Origin derived from phrase of a brain turning to mush.
I wanted to drop porridge on a coworker recently, so I told him the word "gullible" isn't actually in the dictionary.

When a boy gets what they want from you (nudes, head, sex) and they just stop talking to you afterwards, drops you and blocks you on social media, they no longer need you , they got what they wanted.

Refers to careless package-delivery methods where said parcels receive multiple hard thuds on cement and/or gravel during their journey; sometimes da carrier may not even have da courtesy to actually stop his vehicle to give you your box, but instead will simply toss da package out da door of his van at you as he's whizzing by; extra points if he also propels it off da running-board wif a boot-bunt, for good measure.
Jim Carrey demonstrates da classic act of drop-shipping in da opening moments of "Ace Ventura --- Pet Detective", where he purposely abuses da carton of assorted crockery on its way to da slovenly deadbeat-ex's apartment, resulting in incredibly beat-up cardboard and a harsh rattly jangly sound dat obviously indicates dat everything got broken inside.

Substitute for "retard." In music, "ritardando" is a "gradual decrease of speed." You can use this around people who want to cancel you for using the word "retard." See also "drop" for short.
