A cheap hot dog bought from a (usually New York City) street food cart. Often thought to be made of meat from mutant animals that live in the sewers. In any case, the meat is of lower quality than public school cafeteria food, and they usually sell for a buck apiece.

Instead of going to Nathan's, let's just get some sewer dogs for lunch.
