Walking to my car after work this evening. A group of 4 young dudes walks up to the crosswalk the same time I do. As we wait I hear them chatting among themselves. One turns to me and says "nice hair. Did ur mom fuck a smurf?". To which his buddies laugh. Without missing a beat I look at him, smile, and say "nice face. Did ur mom fuck a horse?" His buddies literally double over howling with laughter. "Douche'!!"

They also adopt and discard opinions in pursuit of their ever evolving brand. One clue to the douche personality: everything they wear is fairly new because they're always tweaking their brand, fiddling with new things they can afford to buy. A douche loves passing tests and going for brass rings, acquiring markers of success. They are self-centered strivers and usually clever and worldly. For them, the world is primarily a place where they can consume and win at status games.
He/She is a classic douche. He/She is only interested in apartments south of 96th St that reflect their success and cleverness and where they can hang out with other douches so they can deplore people's non-pc ideas and feel good about themselves.

Get the douche canoemug. This is a male who is usually good looking who specifically targets wealthy females. These females would not normally attract a man this good looking if they were poor. A successful sugar douche will ultimately marry one of these females thereby granting him an easy lifestyle with no real employment requirements. Sugar douches usually cheat at some point, have failed business enterprises and ultimately prove to be poor husbands. Divorce, alimony payments and other forms of wealth are given to the sugar douche as severance.
