The Scoble Scale is a Software Engineering term invented to fill the need to accurately describe your annoyance level to other co-workers. This is based on the Scoville Scale used to measure the pungency of peppers, which is based on a subjective rating by test subjects. In this case, the subjectivity is because annoyances can differ between people, but at least there's still a way to communicate it.
1 Scoble Unit is equal to the annoyance perceived from taking a 45 min train ride into town for a meeting organized by a manager that takes less than 5 minutes to conclude, then have to ride the train back.
Since the scale is subjective, it theoretically has no upper limit, but for the sake of simplicity we try to cap it to 11.

Much like the Richter Scale measures the strength of an earthquake, the Hitchcock Scale measures the strength of a sneeze. The scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest. A sneeze measuring 1 is basically that of a very polite grandmother, barely a "psst." Whereas a 10 is a sneeze that results in death.
Sandy: "God bless you!"
Jon: "Thanks... that was at least an 8 on the Hitchcock Scale. I sharted and I'm still seeing spots."

A size scale for Men to measure obese people beyond a size 2XL, also known as a "Tub". This scale (in increasing size) is read as follows: Tub, Super Tub, Poncho, Mega Poncho, Moomoo, Megamoo, Blanket, House Blanket, Ludicrous Blanket, Circus Tent.
Common Tub Scale incidents
Customer: "Hi, do you have any of these Joe Montana jerseys in a size House Blanket?"
Associate: "No sorry, we only carry jerseys up to a Megamoo. You'll have to try Tom's Portly & Wide. They have apparel up to Ludicrous Blanket.
By age 21, Terry was up to a Mega Poncho, and had to purchase two airline tickets for himself if he wanted to fly somewhere.
Rob was disappointed with the blanket selection at TubMart. He simply couldn't find an appropriate hawaiian blanket.
Bruce was embarrassed to find he got burger stains on his brand new Super Tub Hoodie.

A way of rating women on their level of attractiveness, usually between 1 and 10, with 1 being horribly unattractive and 10 being insanely attractive. Women are often spoken of with their rating alone, example below.
Guy A: Man, I saw this 9/10 yesterday. Definitely caught her checking me out.
Guy B: That high on the attraction scale?
Guy A: Yeah! Maybe even a 10!
