mid-stride crisis 

In recreational running, the propensity for any man over the age of 40, when passed by a female, to immediately speed up to reclaim the lead. It is not uncommon for men prone to this affliction to stuff their running shorts with rolled socks.

I was out on the running trail when I passed this old man wearing really short shorts. He had a mid-stride crisis and immediately doubled his pace to keep up with me; his belabored breathing and flushed skin had me concerned that a cardiac arrest was imminent.

A healthy bout of sad emotions and feels that occur half way through the week after a weekend of debauchery involving ecstasy.

"Hey man, what's wrong?"

"It's nothing, just come down with the mid week blues after last weekend."

mid-day wipe 

A much needed mid-day wipe of one's anus after a previous night of heavy boozing/drinking wine/beer, followed by a morning of greasy, wet farts that have the possibility of leaving a brown shit smear on one's undies if left unchecked.

Parker and Hamilton stayed up all night drinking Big Bear 40 oz malt liquors and jugs of cheap wine.

The next day, Parker was having trouble at work. He had a case of mud butt diarrhea followed by a series of beer farts.

He excused himself right before lunch and went to the bathroom for a mid-day wipe.

The age range in your twenties, beginning at 24 and ending at 26. Up until 24 (20-23), you're in your early twenties. After 26 (27-29), you're in your late twenties.

When I hit 24, I had transitioned from my early twenties to my mid-twenties. Then I had a mid-twenties crisis.

mid high school crisis 

When you realize that your already half way done with high school and you haven't done things you thought you would have done by then, or realize that the good times you have had won't last long.

This usually happens sometime during the summer after sophomore year. It can be triggered by things such as seeing some of your older friends graduating and leaving for collage, or when you see that you only have 2 more years in high school left.

It can cause things such as finally getting into shape (or at least trying to), talking to someone of the opposite sex that you used to be shy around, experimenting with drugs or alcohol, having sex for the first time and/or dropping everything to go hang out with friends knowing that they wont be there forever.

- When johnny saw his friend greg graduate, he went though his mid high school crisis and started to spend more time with his friends

- Jessica got drunk and put out when she realized that she was halfway through high school and never had sex before
