An adjective associated with moist, usually pre-mature, low-grade marijuana. Dank weed won't burn completely (stays black, doesn't create white or gray ash), tastes of chemicals or fertilizers and makes for terrible joints. Comes from the actual meaning of dank, like a dank, wet basement.

Man, all he's got is that dank ass shit weed. Can't even smoke it in a spliff.

This weed is dank, needs to be dried out.
