Soon: the word thrown around and misused by Dakota, describing when he will finally be mine and stop the waiting and hurt. However when he says soon it’s like he means in 3-5 million years. True definition of SOON: to do it NOW or immediate future. No more waiting it has already been long enough. SOON should mean NOW

A unit of time roughly equivalent to the amount of time it takes for a squirrel to plan a road trip — enthusiastic at first, but with endless scenic detours. Commonly understood to mean anywhere between ‘later today’ and ‘the heat death of the universe.
