It is a Hippie much like a Neo-Hippie that is obsessed with either Barack Obama or old school rap. Most commonly loves soy and conducts non-profit social mentoring programs. They are also totally obsessed with Global Warming and is often seen pondering your local college campus. They are also commonly vegitarians because they believe that farm animals deserve the same rights as human beings. Commonly they do not own tv's because there is no point in viewing ESPN in HD or in any definition.

Skanky hippies are pretty much the same as the goddamn hippies except that their dreads are, well, skankier, their misguided ideas/political bias (if indeed they have any) even more hackneyed and immature. These are the kind of idiots who think smashing a McDonalds window is `fighting capatalism' A high proportion of these deluded skanks are likely to claiming benefits/living in a squat, and smell.

They seem to congregrate in cities like Brighton and London for the most part, but unfortunately can be found all over the world, sitting on street corners peddling drugs and bracelets.
