Fight Like Apes

Irish based "alternative rock/punk rock band" formed in 2006. The members are Mary-Kaye "MayKay" Geraghty (vocals and synth), Jamie "Pockets" Fox (keyboard and vocals) and Tom Ryan (bass). Original member Adrian Mullin (drums) left in 2010, due to creative differences.

The have 3 EP's:
"How Am I Supposed to Kill You If I Don't Have all the Guns?" (2007)
"David Carradine is a Bounty Hunter Who's Robotic Arm Hates Your Crotch" (2007)
"You Filled His Head with Fluffy Clouds and Jolly Ranchers, What Did you Think Was Going to Happen" (2009)

"Fight Like Apes and the Mystery of the Golden Medallion" (2008)
"The Body of Christ and the Legs of Tina Turner" (2010)

And one live album:
"Live at Eurosinc" (2009)

They have toured with, among others, The Prodigy and The Ting Tings.

Their name sometimes may be written as FLA or FLApes.

Fighting Starfish

The "fighting starfish" is when one individual rubs their anus against the anus of a second (consenting) individual. It is similiar to the act of "scissoring"- which typically occurs between two vaginas. The "fighting starfish" is more inclusive than scissoring because anyone can participate so long as they have an anus.

Person 1: "What did you do on your date last night?"
Person 2: "Well, Stan and I tried out the fighting starfish..."
Person 1: "Whats that?"
Person 2: "It is when two consenting adults rub their anuses together. It is like scissoring, but more inclusive."
Person 1: "Oh, that sounds like fun."

Fight or flight

Fight or flight is the physical reaction of an organism to a perceived threat within the environment. It is an inherent trait found in all animals (including humans) that ultimately promotes the survival of a species (via natural selection).

When the fight or flight response is activated, the cardiorespiratory system is given immediate emphasis while the digestive system takes a step back, thus why one loses appetite during a stressful event. Generally, the organism's body gets prepared to either deal with the threat or flee away from it.

Fight or flight response makes up the first stage of the general adaptation syndrome.

When the tiger pounced on the gazelle, the gazelle's fight or flight response kicked in and is what enabled the gazelle to flee from the tiger in a swift and nimble manner.

Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li

A very serious medical condition in witch one completely loses their will to live. The only known cure is 12 hours of playing Street Fighter 4 a day for a period of 6 months. Mountain Dew injected directly into the bloodstream has been known to decrease recovery time.

She had a disgusted look on her face when watching Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li as she saw Vega get killed off in a 2 minute fight.
